Heyyy, it's DJ! I'm an Iowa native, but newer to the wedding industry. My husband will say I'm bossy and my grandma calls me a diva - both are true and contribute to my wonderful skills of being a kick ass wedding planner. I'm dedicated to advocating for my couples and creating a safe space for them to celebrate

their most special day with their loved ones.

I live with my wonderful husband Brandon and our two sweetest kitties, Lottie

and Mochi. I'm also a professional nanny and household assistant (hence the organizational skills) and part-time fashionista. I'm a taurus and I love spending my free time thrifting, hanging out with my closest people, playing Fortnite and Zelda, and all forms of creating - whether thats crafts, content (hey TikTok) or creating connections with people like you.

My life is beautiful now, but it hasn't always been so bright. I grew up in a home full of trauma, neglect, dysfunction and abuse. My childhood was filled with toxicity and maltreatment in many different forms that I didn’t deserve, facing unimaginable hardships throughout my entire childhood. I didn’t have many people looking out for what was best for me as a child and young adolescent.

These experiences have left a lifelong effect on the person I am today and have shaped me to be the energetic and determined diva that I am now. Despite the countless adversities I’ve been faced with throughout this life, I’ve defeated them all and continue to build the life I so desperately wanted as a little girl. 9 year old Destiny Jade would have never thought I would be where I’m at in a million years.

I am here because of unwavering determination and perseverance and because I believed in myself.
